A really amazing place with some really special vibes, homemade pasta is really the way to my heart, and the spicy rigatoni is no exception! They have some crazy apps, including some homemade meatballs, and I would be remiss if I did not mention the amazing dirty martinis with hazelnut stuffed olives! June 2026: The eggplant parmigiana is serviced with pasta tossed in vodka sauce. A great dish overall. June 2024: Sunday lunch for 7 inside was pleasant. Birravino is nicely decorated with a warm/welcoming atmosphere. Good team service and food. The menu has a lot of options. The cocktails are delicious and the bar looks like a nice place to have drinks. However, the wine was served warm. Enjoy!
We came here for my brother in laws birthday dinner. We were a group of 10 and the service was pretty quick. We got different appetizers to share and the guys got spritz’s which they said were good but not for the price. Overall the food was good and fresh but I just thought it was very pricey, while I understand it’s more of a fresh food kitchen and they hand make everything I didn’t think it was worth the cost. On a plus side they do have homemade gluten free pasta! I am not a person to usually eat my entire meal and appetizers and still be hungry after eating but I unfortunately was after leaving here. Furthermore I’m glad we got to try it as it’s been on our list.
Reservations are highly recommended as Birravino is a popular restaurant. Free parking on Birravino property was tight and full. Street parking is available for a fee. Casual atmosphere with beautiful decor. My family ate in the indoor/outdoor area where sections of the roof can apparently be retracted. Despite the crowd including two large groups service was excellent. Our server, David, was fully attentive, helpful and courteous. The fried calimari were the best I've ever had. We all enjoyed our meals - well presented, delicious and well portioned. Definitely recommended. We'll definitely return next time we're in the area.
After a great day at the beach, Gemini recommended this top tier trattoria based on our affinity for red sauce joints. Despite not having a reservation, the host team worked us in and offered us the table for 90 minutes. We got off to a strong start with cocktails and shared the octopus and mozzarella appetizers. We all had a desire for seafood so two of us got the branzino and the third the salmon. Our plates were cleaned. Everything was delicious. Our meal was accompanied by a wonderful bottle of Sardinian vermentino. The attentive service by a multi-person team did not feel rushed at all. We consumed every minute of the 90 we were offered and then some. This restaurant offers a number of open spaces with high ceilings, a kitchen where you can see the talent A generous bar area is available as well. While we didn't have classic red sauce joint fair it was on offer.. We could tell this restaurant was full of regulars. You could tell this was a neighborhood gem. In fact, we made note of how returning customers were greeted by the staff. Lucky are those that live near such a beautiful well-managed place. Easy to find with plenty of parking.
Our meal was terrific, ate full, happy, and with lots of leftovers. Everything was perfect, great flavors and generous servings: - charcuterie, asparagus salad, calamari - Sunday sauce, meatballs, eggplant parm, lemon chicken, orcheeta & burrata w/pasta. The homemade pastas, and the flavorful sauces were soooo good. - dessert of affogato ended the meal perfectly Our server, Jonelle, was great!
Big birthday lunch and it was SO amazing on so many fronts. I remember being excited about everything on the menu, and then being my birthday, got to order whatever I wanted. Enough food to feed a dozen people. And every single thing tasted so innovative and delicious and made my inner foodie burst out with happiness. There were sweet melon salads and herby pastas, savory flatbreads and creamy cannolis, crispy salads and tender seafoods. What an amazing day.
My husband and I were on a date night and Birravino was recommended by a friend. Our dirty martinis were delicious and then we had the mozzarella appetizer. You could tell how fresh the mozzarella was. My husband loved his eggplant parm and I got the mushroom pizza. The pizza needed a little bit more balsamic glaze, but overall it was delicious! We finished with the chocolate tort dessert - it was so good and not too sweet! I would definitely recommend a visit!
